Evangelism - Theories & Strategies

MOMENTUM offers local churches the skills and tools to help them build a local, culturally relevant and contextual evangelism strategy based upon biblical and theological foundations and informed by principles and strategies from the social sciences. Practical principles are taught for how local churches can successfully identify and understand their communities and networks, build relational networks intentionally, and learn to identify and meet the needs of their local community. Importance is given to the relational nature of evangelism, the post Christian and post modern contexts of the UK and careful consideration is given to the necessity of formulating strategies for developing new believers to maturity in Christ. MOMENTUM runs this as a full module at Nazarene Theological College and meets with local church leaderships to present seminars on these issues in the local context.
